This position requires a highly collaborative and organized person who loves working in a creatively fulfilling environment. This is a role for a passionate, creative, and self-motivated individual. We are looking for an individual with an expansive art background and experience within the jewelry industry. Maintaining a strong work ethic while keeping a positive team outlook, demonstrates just a glimpse into our welcoming company culture. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Creative Director and Senior Designer to create new product concepts and upcoming seasonal developmentInitiate development for assigned collections to meet project needs
Prepare Global trend inspiration boards, colors, material charts
Understanding of stone cuts / sizes / shapes / colors / stone setting
Work closely with sourcing & specing departments
Maintaining & building relationships with vendors and other external resources and community
Multitasking projects within seasonal design collections and specialty department for one of a kind launches
Research trends: i.e. retail, e-commerce, print, vintage fashion, jewelry focused
Review/ QC final samples to proceed with production execution
Design groups & seasonal collections to meet key price points and assortment plans
Provide instruction and guidance to sample makers to execute completed designs
Lead creation/ revision process of samples
Execution of design projects once approved by design board
Organized tracking of samples and project flow
Contribute to meeting prep for all design presentations
Attend Product / Design Review meetings
Maintain email & organizational correspondence
Manage and adhere to the design calendar
Manage & Organize samples & componentry
Supports the team keeping the workspace physically organized
Qualifications:
Highly organized and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills.
Impeccable attention to detail
Goal & Growth oriented experience in receiving direction & feedback
Works well in a collaborative team environment and displays professionalism
Comfortable working in a fast paced and changing environment that involves strategic shifting in priorities
Maintain positive team outlook, take initiative and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
Knowledge of jewelry construction & production
Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficiency with computer usage for visuals / organization of project flow
Reports to: Senior Designer & Head of Creative Development
Working mode: In Office
Estimated salary range: Commensurate with experience

Partners with stones and purchasing departments to request ordering of materials for designs
Understanding of stone cuts / sizes / shapes / colors (can/will train)
Knowledge of vendors for components
Assists designer with the creation / revision process of samples
Supports designer in execution of design projects from approved
Stone setting support
Support Senior Designer in completing and creating design samples, multiple samples may be required
Assist with design visuals to track project flow (proficient knowledge in PowerPoint or Google Slides)
Contribute to meeting prep for all design presentations
Attend Product / Design Review meetings
Maintain email & organizational correspondence
Manage and adhere to the design calendar
Manage & organize samples & componentry
Supports the team keeping the workspace physically organized
Qualifications:
Highly organized and self-motivated

Must be a team player, have ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiative.

Ability to work under pressure in an environment of constant shifting priorities and change.
Must be detail-oriented, willing to learn and flexible!
