The Emerson Collar: 2 Ways
This week we had the pleasure of working with Jess Ann Kirby from Prosecco & Plaid. With outfits that mix high-end glam with casual cool, Jess’ style is perfect for showing how to rock LH pieces with different looks. For this shoot, we took to streets of downtown Providence to style the Emerson Collar Necklace and show how you can dress it up or down. Stay tuned for future style posts from Jess on the LH Blog!
Style tips from Jess:
The beautiful blues and iridescent hues on the Emerson Collar inspired me to choose colors and textures that would play off of the necklace. It’s such a beautiful statement piece I really wanted it to be the focal point of each outfit. One of my favorite things about the Emerson is it’s versatility. Styled with a plaid shirt or a sequin skirt, the necklace elevates any look.
For daytime, I paired it with distressed denim, burgundy booties, flannel and a wide brim fedora. The borrowed from the boys look is edgy and chic with rich jewel tones that pair so well with the cooler hues in the necklace.
For nighttime, I couldn’t resist pairing it with this sequined skirt and bright blue blouse. What’s better than sparkle and cobalt? Don’t be afraid to match hues in the same outfit. Along with the necklace, the pumps and blouse really make the outfit pop, and add a sophisticated playfulness to the look.
