Fall Cocktail Hour: Spiced Pear Gin and Tonic

It's officially feeling like Fall which means we are weaning ourselves off of rosé and reaching for something a little cozier.  Our Spiced Pear Gin and Tonic is perfect for a night in with your significant other, a classy Fall themed gathering with your girls (it would look perfect next to those cute little gourds you just had to have), or your annual pumpkin carving. But let's be real, any Fall night works because sometimes you just have to treat yourself on a Tuesday.

The cocktail features some of our favorite Fall flavors like fresh vanilla bean and cinnamon. We also love how the pear juice adds just the right amount of sweetness and it doesn't hurt that the cocktail looks divine next to our Loren Hope stack.

Ingredients:

(This recipe makes one drink)

  • 1.5 fluid ounces (one shot per drink) of Hendrick’s Gin
  • Splash of pear juice
  • 2 fluid ounces of Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic
  • 1/2 vanilla bean pod (after scraping out the seeds, save the pod for garnish)
  • Pear slice (garnish)
  • 1 sprig of thyme (garnish)
  • Cinnamon (garnish)

Instructions:

Step One: Fill glass with ice.
Step Two: Pour Hendrick’s Gin into your glass.
Step Three: Pour a splash of pear juice into your drink (or more if you like your drinks sweet).
Step Four: Next, cut your vanilla bean in half. Then, cut length-wise and scrape the vanilla bean seeds into your drink and stir. Save your vanilla bean pod for garnish.
Step Five: Top drink off with Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic.
Step Six: Slice your pear into thin strips for garnish.
Step Seven: Garnish your drink with a slice of pear, a dash of cinnamon, vanilla bean, and thyme sprig.
Step Eight: Enjoy!
